Mary was not a frigid dysfunctional wife to Joesph after the birth of Jesus

February 2, 2011

False-christian Romanist polytheists try to teach that Mary was a frigid, unloving wife to Joseph and that their marriage was barren and fruitless. This is the same bunch that make Sodomites out of their priests by forbidding marriage and teach a trinity god squad instead of the real Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible.

Mary and Joseph had children both boys and girls the normal holy way after Jesus was born of a virgin birth. Mary and Joseph did not have a loveless barren dysfunctional fruitless marriage as some would have you to believe. Jesus had brothers and sisters. Don’t believe the devil’s ministers as they try to explain away the Word of God regarding this truth from the Bible.

Matt 13:55 Is not this the carpenter’s son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
Matt 13:56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?
Matt 13:57 And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.

False-christians will try to say that brother and sister can also mean cousin, but look at the context. The people were attacking Jesus’s deity by pointing out his brothers and sisters. How would Him having cousins have mattered? Don’t let the polytheistic Maryidolaters deceive you. They would disgrace Mary as being a frigid, unloving, unholy wife to Joseph and make her into a false god.

John 2:12 After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days.

Note the distinction in verse twelve between His physical brothers and the disciples.

Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

The crowd (of 120) were ALL together in one place.

Acts 1:14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

Acts 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing
mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
Acts 2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

120 people INCLUDING Mary the mother of Jesus were filled with the Holy Ghost and ALL spoke in tongues when they received the Spirit of Christ.

Matt 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
Matt 1:24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
Matt 1:25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

Mary and Joseph did not have a loveless barren marriage as the Catholics would have us to believe. He knew her not “till”…

I hope this helps…

Satan’s ministers prey upon the ignorant

November 25, 2010

Satan’s ministers prey upon those who lack knowledge and they use common misconseptions. Most of what false preachers will teach however is for the purpose of convincing people that they don’t really need to obey Acts 2:38 to be saved. The devil doesn’t care how much of the Bible you obey just as long as you don’t really become a Christian by obeying Acts 2:38. The more moral and holy and scholarly a false-christian is, the stronger the devil holds them by their pride. That is because in order to really become a Christian they would have to admit that they really aren’t one yet.

I have noticed ministers of Satan teaching that Acts 2:38 salvation is only for the Jews, but they are fishing for fools.

We can look at the account of the first Gentiles becoming Christian and clearly see that they spoke in other tongues just like the Apostles AND they were baptized in Jesus Name (the Apostles knew what the Name of the Lord is.)

Keep in mind that the trinity was not even invented until after the Apostles were gone. Even the encyclopedias admit that water baptism was originally administered in the Name of Jesus.

ENCYCLOPEDIA BRITANNICA, 11th Ed. Vol. 3 Page 365-366, “The baptismal formula was changed from the name of Jesus Christ to the words Father, Son, and Holy Ghost by the Catholic Church in the 2nd Century.” Vol. 3 Page 82 “Everywhere in the oldest sources it states that baptism took place in the Name of Jesus Christ.”

CANNEY ENCYCLOPEDIA OF RELIGION, Page 53 — “The early church always baptized in the Name of Lord Jesus until the development of the trinity doctrine in the 2nd Century.”

HASTINGS ENCYCLOPEDIA OF RELIGION, Vol. 2 pages 377-378-389, “The Christian baptism was administered using the Name of Jesus. The use of the trinitarian formula of any sort was not suggested in the early church history, baptism was always in the Name of the Lord Jesus, until the time of Justin Martyr when the trinity formula was used.” Hastings also said in Vol. 2 Page 377, commenting on Acts 2:38, “NAME was an ancient synonym for person. Payment was always made in the name of some person referring to ownership. Therefore one being baptized in Jesus Name became his personal property.” “Ye are Christ’s.” I Cor. 3:23.

Now let us examine the first Gentiles becoming Christians. Up until this time the Apostles did not realize that a Gentile could be saved.

Acts 10:44 ¶While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
Acts 10:45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 10:46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
Acts 10:47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? Acts 10:48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

Keep in mind that the New Testament had not yet been written and the commonly misunderstood Matt 28:19 had not yet been written. The Apostles that heard Jesus speak always baptized in Jesus Name because they knew the Name of their Lord.

When the minister of Satan tries to teach that Acts 2:38 was just for the Jews, now you know how to prove that the minister of Satan is a liar. Also we can see by verse 39 that Acts 2:38 is for all that God will call.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Acts 2:40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

Now please notice in this very next verse how many people were water baptized in Jesus Name on the birthday of the New Testament Church.

Acts 2:41 ¶Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

The minister of Satan is not your friend regardless of their great swelling claims or sugar coated lies or how good he/she/it can make you feel about yourself. Look at what God has promised for all who don’t obey Acts 2:38 regardless of their excuse:

2Thess 1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
2Thess 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
2Thess 1:9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

There is nothing to respect or honor about any minister of Satan whether trinitarian, or JW or Mormon or whatever.

More real Christians need to be obeying Galatians 1:8 regarding trinity preachers.

Censorship religious and political on Facebook

September 28, 2010

Facebook is engaging in blatant religious and political censorship. This should be of great concern with a major election coming up soon.

Facebook is again, as of 9/28/2010 blocking my ability to comment on postings that show up on my own news feed and threatening to disable my account if I continue to publish unpopular views. This should be of great concern to all.

Ever wonder why the false-christians attack Acts 2:38 so much?

September 14, 2010

Ever wonder why deceivers, and fake christians in general, single out Acts 2:38 as the verse that “need not be obeyed”? It is because Acts 2:38 is the plan of salvation for the new testament church. Notice that Jesus had personally given Peter the keys to the kingdom of heaven:

Matt 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Let us also notice that when sinners were “pricked in their hearts” and asked Peter what they could do, that Peter unlocked the kingdom of heaven for “as many as the Lord our God shall call”

Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Acts 2:37 Now when they heard [this], they were pricked in their
heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men [and] brethren, what shall we do?

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, [even] as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Acts 2:40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added [unto them] about three thousand souls.

Notice, there were 3000 there that elected to have their sins remitted. So you better believe that the minister of Satan will do just about anything that he can to try to downplay Acts 2:38. Paul mentions that there will be those that come along and preach “another gospel.”

Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

Paul also didn’t leave us in ignorance that when Satan’s ministers come, they come masquerading as “ministers of righteousness”, as smooth talking false preachers saying “Just claim belief and you are saved.”

II Corinthians 11:13 For such [are] false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
II Corinthians 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
II Corinthians 11:15 Therefore [it is] no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

It is the job of the false preacher to cause YOU to be among those that don’t obey Acts 2:38.

II Thessalonians 1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
II Thessalonians 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Notice that there are TWO groups mentioned in verse 8, those that
don’t know God, AND those that know him BUT REFUSE TO OBEY HIM.

II Thessalonians 1:9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only,
deceiving your own selves.

Hebrews 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Water Baptism in Jesus name remits sins BECAUSE of Jesus finished work on the cross. It is the re-birth of water (see John 3:5).

Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Galatians 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

The devil’s servants don’t want you to “put on Christ”. They want you to reject Jesus name baptism. Is the man in the pulpit of your church just there to soothe you into hell? Is your preacher stressing the URGENCY of obeying the Bible or is he/she/it selling a fable of a false grace that ignores obedience to the Bible.

II Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
II Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
II Timothy 4:4 And they shall turn away [their] ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Is your preacher preaching Acts 2:38, or soothing fables?

I hope this helps…

Those who reject Acts 2:38 have rejected John 3:16

September 14, 2010

Remember that in the Bible someone who has not obeyed Acts 2:38 is counted as a non-believer.

Rom 10:16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

So someone who has not obeyed Acts 2:38 to become a Christian has rejected John 3:16 as well.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

That is a beautiful verse, but it is abused by many false preachers to promote false christianity and lies. John 3:16 was only PART of a conversation which INCLUDED John 3:5.

John 3:1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
John 3:2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
John 3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Jesus declared that salvation required a re-birth of water and Spirit.

John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
John 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
John 3:9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
John 3:10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
John 3:11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
John 3:12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you [of] heavenly things?
John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, [even] the Son of man which is in heaven.
John 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Jesus knew that anyone who *really* believed in Him would OBEY. The example that Jesus used regarding the serpent was a situation where only the obedient were saved! Jesus used an example that stressed OBEDIENCE!

Here is the situation that Jesus cited.

Numbers 21:8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.

Here is the whole context.

Numbers 21:5 And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.
6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
7 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.
8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

Jesus used an example of a sinful people who were, by grace, given an opportunity to OBEY and be saved.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

When the plan of salvation was preached on the birthday of the Church, it was based on the two elements that Jesus had declared essential. Notice “water” (baptism) and “Spirit” (Holy Ghost), John 3:5 in ACTion.

* Those who “believed” were baptised in Jesus name. *

Acts 8:12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
Acts 8:13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

Those who “believed” the apostles, “obeyed” the apostles.

Acts 18:8 And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized.

Those who “believed” the apostles, “obeyed” the apostles.

Acts 19:4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
Acts 19:5 When they heard [this], they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Anyone who would not obey Acts 2:38 was counted to be a NON-BELIEVER.

Romans 10:16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

Hebrews 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

What is promised to those who refuse to obey the Gospel? Remember Jesus used in His discussion about salvation a situation where any non-obeyer DIED.

John 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

The serpent was lifted up to provide an option for the people to obey and be saved.

2 Thessalonians 1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

1 Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

Hebrews 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

The “lettuce” verse does not justify trinity polytheism

April 30, 2009

Here we have one of the favorite verses of the trinity/antichrist preachers, except if we keep reading just one verse further; we see that verse 26 couldn’t have possibly been referring to a discussion with other gods. God was talking with the angels.

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

See in verse 27; it says “he” created, not “they” created. But as if that wasn’t enough proof, we see in this next verse that God clearly and plainly declares that He did the creating, and I quote “by myself”

Isaiah 44:24 Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I [am] the LORD that maketh all [things]; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;

Isaiah 44:25 That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise [men] backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;

God does not seem overly impressed with men’s pet theories, does He?

Isaiah 45:5 I [am] the LORD, and [there is] none else, [there is] no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:
Isaiah 45:6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that [there is] none beside me. I [am] the LORD, and [there is] none else.

Now I have to submit that if there had been any other co-equal, co-eternal 1/3 gods around that Jehovah Saviour would have been aware of them, notice that He states, and I quote “there is none beside me”.

Isaiah 45:23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth [in] righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

Isaiah 45:23 and Philippians 2:10 & 11 must be referring to the same person, whom all knees will eventually bow to.

Philippians 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth;
Philippians 2:11 And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Now if you’re having any trouble at all with thinking that verse 11 speaks of two gods, just take the comma out (the original language didn’t have ’em)…and notice the consistent meaning, if we read the verse to mean that Jesus Christ is Lord of the glory of God the Father. If that seems to be stretching things a bit, notice this next verse:

I Corinthians 2:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known [it], they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

See, it says that Jesus is the Lord of glory, but we see in this next verse that Jehovah Saviour states that He will not share His glory with any other….sooo we see that Jehovah Saviour allowed Himself to be crucified.

Isaiah 48:11 For mine own sake, [even] for mine own sake, will I do [it]: for how should [my name] be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.

And if anyone with even the slightest bit of sincerity has any lingering doubt, Jesus said it about as plain as it could be said.

John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou [then], Shew us the Father?

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and
shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Notice how the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Christ is the same Spirit. That same Spirit is the Spirit of Truth, or the Holy Ghost.

God is a Spirit.

John 4:24 God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth.

God is holy.

I Samuel 2:2 [There is] none holy as the LORD: for [there is] none beside thee: neither [is there] any rock like our God.

God is a “Holy Spirit”. Jesus is the “Spirit of truth”

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jesus was “dwelling with them” and promised to be “in them”.

John 14:17 [Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

The “comforter” is the “Spirit of Christ”

John 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

The “Spirit of Christ” is the “Holy Spirit” is the “Spirit of Truth”

John 14:26 But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

The Spirit of God visited His creation robed in flesh as the “Son”.

I Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached
unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

The fullness of God is in Jesus Christ

Colossians 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
Colossians 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

Jesus IS the “everlasting Father”.

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called
Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Those who believe that Jesus is a “separate person” from the “Father” don’t really know Jesus at all.

John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou [then], Shew us the Father?

Speaking in tongues

April 30, 2009

There is a lot of debate in this hour regarding speaking in tongues. A carnal perfunctory glance into the Word of God can make it appear that there are contradictions in the Bible and false preachers use that to deceive souls.

This preacher believes that you CAN understand the Word of God rightly divided and that this is not a particularly difficult subject if we know some basic foundation.

We have false preachers who teach people that they have the Holy Ghost even though they have never spoken in tongues and these false preachers misuse verses like:

1 Corinthians 12:30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?

Yet we know that speaking in other tongues was the evidence that the Apostles used to determine that someone had received the same Holy Ghost that they had received.

Acts 10:5 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?

The same Paul who wrote 1 Corinthians 12:30 wrote 14:18

1 Corinthians 14:18 I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:

There are many examples in the Word of God where souls spoke in other tongues when they received the Holy Ghost that you can read in the Book of Acts that I do not have the time to cover them all tonight.

The simple key to understanding this apparent contradiction is to understand that there are two completely different types of tongues in the Bible.

It is essential to understand that there are TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT KINDS OF TONGUES in the Bible. #1: Other Tongues and #2: The Gift of Tongues (Unknown tongues).

Bear with me an I will provide you the proof of this fact from the Word of God. It is actually quite simple.

When the 120 in the upper room were filled with the Holy Ghost they spoke in other tongues(#1).

Acts 1:15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)

Take note, and this is important; notice that other tongues(#1) WAS UNDERSTOOD by men, by bystanders. It was an earthly language.

Acts 2:5 ¶ And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

Acts 2:11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

Again, remember that this “other tongues” or “Pentecost tongues” was understood by many bystanders! This happened when the 120 in the Upper Room received the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

Now I want to address the second type of tongues or “unknown tongues” also known as the “Gift of Tongues”.

In I Cor 14:2 however it says that when a man speaks in “unknown tongues (#2)” that NO MAN UNDERSTANDS him.

1 Corinthians 14:2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

In I Cor 12: 29,30 Paul is speaking concerning “the Gift of Tongues( unknown tongues #2)” when he asks “Do all speak with tongues(#2)?”. The group that he was addressing all had spoken in “other tongues(#1)” when they had received the Holy Ghost.

1 Corinthians 12:29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?

1 Corinthians 12:4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

Though ALL that receive the Holy Ghost DO SPEAK IN OTHER TONGUES(#1). Of these not everyone will be used in the “Gift of Tongues(#2)”. Every new-testament Christian will speak in “other tongues(#1)”, but every Christian will not be used in the “Gift of tongues(#2)”

Other tongues(#1) is, however, only the initial evidence that a person has been “reborn of the Spirit”. It is not an end unto itself, but rather the beginning of a Christian life that should go “on to perfection” and manifest the full “fruit of the Spirit” in due season. Also essential is repentance from sin and baptism
in water in the NAME of Jesus.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Everyone in the new testament (including Mary the mother of
Jesus) spoke in “other tongues(#1)” when they received the Holy Ghost.

Acts 1:12 ¶ Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day’s journey.
13 And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.
14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
15 ¶ And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)

So we see that Mary, the mother of Jesus was among the 120 in the Upper Room. Then we see that they were ALL filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak with other tongues.

Acts 2:1 ¶ And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Remember that the only way that the Apostles knew that Gentiles had received the same Holy Ghost that they had was because they heard them speak in tongues.

Acts 10:45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?

Here is another account when Paul founded the Church at Ephesus in Acts chapter 19.

Acts 19:4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

Those who don’t believe in Jesus Name water baptism and speaking in other tongues don’t really believe the Bible at all and are not a part of the religion of the Bible. These are really just basic Bible doctrines that I am preaching to you.

Remember that you can know that there are two different types of tongues because one type was understood by those standing by and the other type is understood by no man according to the Bible.

Let us again look at the subject of spiritual gifts:

1 Corinthians 12:4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

We see that there is a spiritual gift of “faith” that not all Christians receive, but we know that all Christians have faith, right?

We see that there is a spiritual gift of ” the word of knowledge” that not all Christians receive but all Christians have knowledge, right?

We see that there is a spiritual gift of “the word of wisdom” that not all Christians will receive, but all Christians have a measure of wisdom.

We also see that there is a spiritual gift of “tongues” that not all Christians receive, BUT this is a completely different type of tongues than “Pentecost tongues” or “other tongues”.

Don’t let the devil or his filthy false preachers convince you to settle for less than true Biblical salvation! At least now if some false preacher tries to use 1 Corinthians 12:30 (1 Corinthians 12:30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?) to convince you that you have the Holy Ghost without the speaking in tongues you will know that he is just fishing for fools!

The key to understanding the two different types of tongues is that one type was understood by men and the other type is not understood by men and that is why
there is also the spiritual gift of “interpretation of tongues”.

So there is no contradiction in the Bible, just evil men and seducers waxing worse and worse.

2 Timothy 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

You do not automatically receive the Holy Ghost when you first believe or the following verse could not be in the Bible:

Acts 19:2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism.
4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

Notice also that when Paul discovered that they didn’t have the Holy Ghost that he immediately questioned their water baptism, eh? Then what did they do when Paul told them to believe on Jesus? They knew that believing on Jesus included being
baptised in His Name!

Don’t let some filthy false preacher in some filthy false-christian cult deceive you into being satisfied with less than true Biblical Salvation! The devil is keeping a lot
of people from becoming Christians by simply convincing them that they already are when they clearly are not and then holding them by their pride!

Don’t settle for less than the Biblical experience. The Word of God was not given to frustrate you or confuse you. Don’t settle for some man made religion.

How to become a real Biblical Christian

April 29, 2009

One major issue that many appear to be negligently overlooking is that one must first BECOME a Christian before one can “remain” a Christian.

Some very foolish and some wicked people are quoting from letters written to Christian people to instruct them of how to remain Christian and trying to twist those verses to a false conclusion.

The Epistles are letters written to people who had obeyed Acts 2:38. They are not letters to the lost on “how to be saved”. The Bible is quite clear that Acts 2:38 is for ALL that God will call.

All of the whining in the world is not going to change the fact that a person must first BECOME a Christian in order to “BE” a Christian or to “remain” a Christian.

** Jews when they received the Holy Ghost **
Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

** Samaritans when they received the Holy Ghost **
Acts 8:14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
Acts 8:15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:
Acts 8:16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
Acts 8:17 Then laid they [their] hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

** I wonder how the apostles knew they had received the Holy Ghost? *

** Gentiles when they received the Holy Ghost **
Acts 10:45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 10:46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
Acts 10:47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
Acts 10:48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

** John the Baptist’s disciples when they were RE- baptised and received the Holy Ghost **

Acts 19:2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
Acts 19:3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism.
Acts 19:4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
Acts 19:5 When they heard [this], they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Acts 19:6 And when Paul had laid [his] hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

Jews, gentiles, Samaritans; all baptised in JESUS name, all spoke in tongues when they received the Holy Ghost.

** Have YOU received the Holy Ghost since YOU believed? **
** Have YOU been baptised in JESUS name? **
If not, what would *ever* lead you to imagine that you could be saved without being born again of the Water and of the Spirit? (John 3:5)

The epistles of the Bible are letters that were addressed to those who had received the preaching of the Apostles. The “receiving” or “believing” was determined by whether or not the hearers of the Apostles obeyed the word preached by the Apostles. One who would not obey was considered a “non-believer”.

Romans 10:16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

Some will claim to be “believers” even though they never obeyed the Gospel that the Apostles preached (some say there is nothing to obey).
Before continuing, let’s make it perfectly clear what Jesus Christ has in store for any and all who do not obey the Gospel that the Apostles preached.

2THES 1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
2THES 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
2THES 1:9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

So we see that obedience is a requirement for Biblical salvation.

False preachers have their favorite verses that they use to deceive souls into a comfortable disobedience to the Bible. But once one understands that the ones the epistles were addressed to had already obeyed then the false preachers are easier to spot.

For example, the book of Romans was addressed to Christians who were known for their obedience. (also demonstrating that they had obeyed).

Romans 1:5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

Romans 16:19 For your obedience is come abroad unto all [men]. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.

The book of Ephesians is also a favorite of the false preacher, but we just need to look at how the Ephesian Church was founded on obedience to Acts 2:38. (also notice that the people knew that believing on Jesus included being baptised in Jesus Name)

Acts 19:1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,
Acts 19:2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
Acts 19:3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism.

Notice what they did when Paul told them to believe on Jesus.

The epistles are letters written to those who had obeyed the word that the Apostles preached. Let us look at the birthday of the Church. Notice how they measured whether someone had received the word or not.

Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added [unto them] about three thousand souls.

Receivers of the word, obeyed the word that they received. Let’s back up and see exactly what Peter had preached (some claim Peter as pope but do not obey the message he preached).

Acts 2:42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

In the Bible believer equals obeyer. One calls on Jesus Name by being baptised in Jesus Name. Grace offers that opportunity to have one’s sins remitted. Baptism is not a “work” because you don’t do it, rather it is something that you submit to through obedience to God. Don’t let some crafty, polytheistic, false-christian preacher con you into rejecting Acts 2:38 salvation.

Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
